Clustered homemaking services are offered through a partnership with Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley allowing residents access to home making services seven days a week if necessary. There is a beauty salon on-site and public transportation available through the Lowell Regional Transportation Authority www.lrta.com.

MCFARLIN MANOR 10 Wilson Street, Chelmsford
Over 60 residents now reside in the 50-one bedroom units and 1 – four bedroom Transitional Congregate Apartment. Residents enjoy a weekly luncheon provided through the dietary services of the Chelmsford Council on Aging. Clustered homemaking services are offered through a partnership with Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley provide services which allows residents access to home making services seven days a week if necessary. There is an on-site beauty salon. This development is located in Chelmsford Center with stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is also access to public transportation through the Lowell Regional Transportation Authority www.lrta.com.

DELANEY TERRACE 8 Sheila Ave, N. Chelmsford
This elderly / disabled development is home to over 50 residents that reside in 47 one bedroom apartments and 1 four bedroom Transitional Congregate Apartment. The close proximity to the Chelmsford Senior Center allows for a high quality of life. Delaney Terrace is part a Supportive Housing Site created through a partnership with Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley. This development has a 24 hour on call homemaker that can provide laundry, grocery shopping as well as other supportive services. There is a full time Resident Service Coordinator, on-site wellness checks, meals program, free prescription delivery, full service hair salon and senior yoga. The development is in close proximity to the Chelmsford COA / Senior Center which serves lunch everyday to seniors. There is also access to public transportation through the Lowell Regional Transportation Authority www.lrta.com.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Chapter 667 program applicants must meet the following criteria:

Elderly applicants: At least 60 years old
Income: All applicants are subject to an income limit which is a gross income of less than80% of the median income for the area. Currently the income limits are: 

 

            One person: $44,750
Two people: $51,150
