Chelmsford Woods Residences is a 116-unit affordable housing development located at 267 Littleton Road, Chelmsford, MA. The property offers one, two, and three bedroom apartments and three bedroom townhomes, some with a private garage. The apartments feature fully-applianced galley style kitchens with breakfast bar, easy to maintain laminate wood flooring, large closets and central air conditioning.

Chelmsford Woods Residences is a smoke-free community offering a secure building, ample parking, elevator, tot-lot, and outdoor gathering space with Weber grilling center, large Clubhouse,and on-site laundry facilities.

This property was developed using Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), which restricts income of residents and provides affordable rents. Applicants who already have a Section 8 Voucher or MRVP may use it to rent an unsubsidized unit subject to review by the issuing authority. Residents pay for their electricity, heat, phone, internet and cable TV. A utility allowance is provided for the electricity and heat.

Affordable Units Application

This application is for affordable unassisted units at apartment complexes in Chelmsford. A portion of the units at
these complexes have been deemed ‘affordable’ and as such command a lower-than-market rent.
Apartment information and rents for the affordable unassisted units at these complexes are detailed at the end of
this application. Applicant’s income must be under 50% of area median income (see table on back page). A ‘Local
Preference’ is given to Chelmsford residents for some of the complexes. Section 8 voucher holders are encouraged
to apply.
